What's so enraging about these instances isn't that this woman and her husband are getting what they deserve. To me what's most enraging about these cases is that these people are being traumatized and they wished that trauma for other families, just not their own. They were happy about the idea of other families being ripped apart. And that's why we lost our democracy, people voted to hurt other people, that's what was more appealing to them than anything that might have helped their own lives.
