Those people helped get us into this quagmire--they're not going to help us get out of it.

My humble opinion.

And really easy to...well influence.

I know he's a controversial topic here, but Joe Rogan could have gone either way a couple years ago and he could have been a huge asset to Democrats. He has several liberal core beliefs. But nw he's too far gone and his interview with Bernie the other day makes it obvious to me that he's getting almost all of his information now from far right TikTok videos.

Yeah that will fucking work. Give them what they want and those fuckers will be happy to work with you. Kind of like we had to destroy the village to save it.

I've been hearing the "between the 40 yard lines" argument since 1985. It was bullshit then. It's been bullshit for the following 40 years. It's still bullshit, now.

I've always been amazed that we cling to the Reaganomics lie, too.

Look at it as "dividing" the enemy.

It's gone. The billionaires already own us. There will be no laws passed to save our sorry-ass souls. But I think I do understand the need to keep up with the illusion, and it's all illusion. We're so special.

No more Open tent party, unless you agree with everything we want.

I guess some would like Howard Dean's 50-state strategy out the door.

I'm not up for allowing MAGA in. Nor am I for moving the right. Abundance is right wing hooey and the OP has that abundance vibe.

Also, don't look too deeply into it or you'll also realize that the same people that criticize Democrats for """reaching out""" to the right are also cheering on Sanders as he does rallies in red states and goes on alt right bro podcasts like Joe Rogan and Andrew Schulz...
