A woman protesting an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agreement with Miami-Dade County was arrested and is currently held at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on charges of battery and aggravated assault against a law enforcement officer, as well as resisting an officer with violence.
The arrest came during a chaotic Miami-Dade County Commission meeting Thursday, where men in khaki and gray suits forcibly removed 36-year-old Camila Ramos from the chambers.
Video footage shows her near the floor as men in suits force her to the ground and drag her from the meeting while Ramos repeatedly asks them to stop.
"I deserve to know the process! I just asked what the process was," the woman in the video proclaims. "What's your name?" a male voice asks in response, as she continually pleads, "Let go of me!" ...

WEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - A South Florida woman has bonded out of jail one day after she was arrested during a Miami-Dade Commission meeting for allegedly resisting and striking an officer while attempting to ask commissioners a question.
7News cameras on Friday afternoon captured 36-year-old Camila Ramos as she and a loved one walked out of the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in West Miami-Dade after posting bond.
Ramos did not comment on her arrest.
Immigration activists gathered to speak out against the arrests made during the chaos that unfolded at the commission meeting ...

... On Friday, community groups said outside the Miami-Dade Government Center that what happened wasnt just disorderly, it was dangerous.
They wrote in a news release that "over 100 residents had gathered to speak out against the Countys latest agreement with ICE. Instead, they were met with procedural manipulation by Commission Chair Anthony Rodriguez and violent treatment by law enforcement. To date, not a single elected official has condemned this behavior."
The item in question is resolution 11A, a proposal that would let the county hold immigration detainees for ICE in the jail for up to 48 hours and charge the federal government $50 per person.
But before any real debate could happen on Thursday, commissioners deferred the item and shut the doors to the chambers ...
