Go Hungary (most estimate 100,000 people):

Last edited Sat Jun 28, 2025, 10:27 PM - Edit history (1)

Hungary banned anything that “promotes homosexuality,” which means Pride.

However, today over 500,000 people in Budapest told the government to fuck off. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Not sure if you have been to any of the recent protests, such as No Kings. But I have gone to all of the protests since Trump was elected, and I can assure you, people are not just rolling over. Quite the opposite.

I don't think the average American is outraged yet. Sometimes I feel like the average American thinks my outage is a little over the top. Take away the Internets, then they will be in the streets like Hungary.
Just my opinion.

....but pretty much every Republican in elected office, at the state and federal level?

Including the judges? Sheriffs? Election officials?

And the Supreme Court?

At this point, I'm operating on the assumption that no presidential election will be held in the US in 2028, and that any Democratic gains next year will be ignored or declared "fraudulent" somehow.

Who are not people BTW, no matter how much the sellout opus dei portion of SCOTUS says they are.

I'm pretty sure all the pride parades are going on as usual without the likes of Target and all the rest of spineless corporate America.

His party could lose their majority in the Parliament in the next election which is coming soon. It is seen as a very close election right now.

22. I did a little quick math:
Sat Jun 28, 2025, 06:47 PM
Jun 2025

The population of Hungary is 9.6M people.
500k is 5% of the population. And i assume there were
protesters in other towns- so maybe more like 6% (?)
Anyways, I think we were in the 2% range for No Kings.
So we have a ways to go-- Hopefully we can aspire to this!
