I Can !!! - 'Deadly: Cars vs. Guns...'

Next time someone tells you about the deadliness of cars, compared to guns...

Remind them...

That cars are regulated up the wahzoo, because cars CAN be deadly.

You have to be tested, licensed, registered, and insured.

We now have seat-belt, air-bags, and numerous other safetey features... ALL required BY LAW>

We have entire governmental departments assigned to the monitoring of cars... The DMV, the police, sheriffs, state police, Dept. of Transportation, etc...

We should do the same for guns.

mind. The Constitution didn't cover airplane travel and security as protection of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but it's reality. TSA was created for a specific, 21st century social situation...and guns will follow as we pay the social consequences.

On private property anything goes, pretty much,

Just sayin'.

Newtown...

She was bawling uncontrollably.

I don't like seeing my sisters cry...

I didn't like seeing the people/parents in Newtown cry.

I don't like ANYBODY being sad.

I would like to change the world, as much as one can in their lifetime, to make such things cease to happen.

And I DO NOT accept that it will be done generations from now.

Now... is the time... we know better... NOW !!!

I'd wager that operating time of vehicles is several orders of magnitude higher than that of firearms.

The NRA or anyone else comparing death figures for autos vs. guns is an intellectually flawed argument.
