4. LOL My big brother HAD one and taught us some of the messages it could relay

At our house, we 'piped down the colors' at sunset. And my kid brother knew big brother's pipe call for 'get your ass home, NOW'. It was also extremely handy for sonically severing connections to any/all unwanted phone calls via the old land line. (Big brother worked for Pacific Bell after mustering out and learned how those communication 'trunks' responded to certain pitches)

I miss that old pipe. Might have to track one down and keep it on my key ring.
