I'll Say It Again - There's Power In Numbers - Tr**p Can't Possibly Take On All The Repugs In Congress.....

if they stick together and kill this bill.

There are too many of them to primary or blackmail.

They have to realize that the power is theirs and not Tr**p's in this case.

Get Smart - Repugs!!! Take on Tr**p en masse and kill this bill.

1. They don't want to thwart him. They want this bill. They are as morally depraved as he is.

Congressional GrOPers aren't victims, they are predators.

I have to believe that many of them realize they are shooting themselves in the foot.

They won't have a Party if they buckle under and let Tr**p have his way.

They are unable to critically think of the consequences of their votes.

6. All? No. Enough? Absolutely. And this presumes they're even opposed in the first place.

There might be a handful who dislike it for various reasons of their own like "it doesn't cut enough from Medicaid" or "we need to sell off more federal land" but these are not people who will stand strong against F47 and his mafia goon squad. They will fold like origami, given the right incentives. They are not allies in this struggle.

7. There Is More Of A Chance That These Congressional Repugs Will Be Out Of A Job If They Pass This Bill vs.....

going against Tr**p and killing the bill.

The American People will do the job and vote these people out of office if they pass that bill.

If I were a Congressional Repug - I'd take my chance and campaign on the fact that I had the guts to kill this bill and not be a part of killing Americans should this bill pass.

This is a kamikaze maneuver if they pass this bill.

The tax will be lowered to $0 on the suppressors if this holds, thereby allowing for a lawsuit for no tax= no law needed to be filed....

There will have to be some form left in the ending Senate bill to survive reconciliation because it wasn't in the House bill.

SBR's need a standard 4473 and NICS background check to purchase...I have no idea what lawyer in 1937 thought of the arbitrary 16 inch barrel rule, when handguns are legal all day long?

Trump has picked them all off like a sniper shooting fish in a barrel....EVERY. SINGLE. ONE., with the possible exception of Murkowski.

There is no match to his level of sociopathy in Congress, at least anyone with any power or drive to cross him...If 25 of them attempted to cross him, he would cross 24 out within two years.

10. Musk hates the bill: he could state that he will oppose supporters

Of course, he wants greater cuts and a balanced budget, so he certainly won't support Democrats, but he could threaten numerous GOP politicians' careers in primaries.
The threat of Musk's money may be perceived as greater than the threat of Trump.
