men seem to promulgate/enable them under the guise of a "return to masculinity."

Uggh. What was their relationship with their Mother, Grandmother, Aunts, and yes, their FATHERS to make some men think "they are owed" something from the women they essentially TARGET? Not those they approach like human beings to develop a friendship under mutual respect, but literally TARGET and seek to demand from them that they behave as the fantasy they have created. Yeah, that is attractive to women... Good gawd.

Men were the "providers" because women weren't able to earn income, buy property etc. Unfortunately too many guys haven't caught up with changing times and standards. Granted it never should have been a quid pro quo given the power imbalance created by economic imbalance.

Ingrained into their being is their false belief that being coequal with a woman means they are dominated by a woman. Their resentment of mom, granny or their female teacher telling them what to do, how to behave is unacceptable. The father leaving the child raising up to the mother creates an imbalance in how these boys see and act in the world. They don’t learn how to be a healthy male. They learn how to power struggle against the feminine. They refused to examine their own beliefs to crosscheck which are true and which are hindering their growth as a being. So they fear change. Blaming others, especially the female becomes their go-to when “rationalizing” their existence.

And it's getting worse with AI. And it got worse with Onlyfans. There's an entire genre of social media of loser dudes inviting Onlyfans models onto their shows so they can berate and put them down.

These men are lonely because they won't work on themselves. They won't find ways to give to improve themselves.

If there's a shorter, tighter, more concise version of this... it would probably do better on youtube. Thing is, he's a "reader" not a speaker. I may have been able to stick with it longer while he read his essay, but his "here's my book report" style didn't draw me in.

Other than that, it was great! It's an important message. Very insightful, if not brief.
