Slotkin appears to be a proponent of the “abundance agenda”, a growing ideology among so-called “centrists” the prioritizes deregulating businesses to speed job creation, housing etc. The theory is this will show that government works for the people, but the risk is it will eliminate or ignore safety, labor and environmental rules to maximize profits.

The Abundance Agenda prioritizes profits, not people.
