for good.
He is 79 and in Saudi Arabia his dinner was 2 Big Macs, 2 Filet of Fish sandwiches, and
a chocolate milkshake.

(8,822 posts)However I am dismayed by the fact that often, the evil people are the ones who escape consequences. Jimmy Swaggart who died today lasted until 90.
Of course there are exceptions. Our beloved president Jimmy Carter made it to 100.

(81,720 posts)Can't recall which DUer coined the name Beardo -- it was around the time Walz called them all weird and creepy. So kudos to that unnamed community member. LOL

(500 posts)"Famed teleevangelist Jimmy Swaggart died on Tuesday, July 1, according to an announcement on his Facebook page. He was 90.
"The Pentecostal preacher and pioneer of televangelism was in critical condition at a Louisiana hospital after going into cardiac arrest on June 15, family members said during a recent prayer service.
"Family of the late musician, author and broadcaster previously announced they had not expected him to survive."

(10,313 posts)I don't want him to die just yet. I want to see his name reviled & vilified throughout the nation & the world by EVERYONE. That would be worse than death for him. Then he can kick off.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
