2. her vote was meaningless

so they allowed her to vote no... They KNOW this bill is hugely unpopular. Her voting no allows her to campaign in her next Senate run with "my hands are clean" message to voters in Maine.

They carved out just enough relief from the unpopular cuts so that Murkowski could vote yes... allowing couch fucker to cast the tie breaker. The relief is JUST FOR ALASKA.

Many of the worst parts of this bill will not kick in until after the mid-terms next year. Meaning that the people they hate, their own rural ignorant dumbfuck voters, will be like "well, the Dems said this was going to be a disaster, but so far it seems ok, we still get our Medicaid... I'mma gonna vote for the Republicans again because at least they hate the mexcans and the trans people that gawd tells me to hate"

Collins can express her "concern" for what is about to happen to the social safety nets and say "see, I didn't vote for this".

4. I believe SNAP cuts go into effect almost immediately

after the bill is passed. and it's up to the Democrats to go out into the Red States and exploit their (the rethugs') villany by creating dramatic political ads on all media forms, and hosting town halls.
