What is the best source for finding out how this bill

might screw you over? Is there even such a source?

For instance, where can someone go to find out if they’re going to lose their Medicaid or if someone wants to find out if they will lose their ACA premium subsidy (advance tax credit), etc?

It just seems like the messaging from our side is very broad, but it’s hard for an individual to see what their impact will be like. Maybe final passage needs to happen before there’s such a resource? Who knows. This is all so twisted and sick.

Here’s hoping Speaker Preacher Johnson can’t get the Senate version through the House.

This is one that was buried in the other story I linked, but this one actually includes more focus on the actual provisions of the bill.

The House is going to mess around some more with this monster of a bill. Until a final version passes or fails, we won't know exactly what it will and won't do. From what I understand, many of the cuts in things like Medicaid will not take effect until after the midterm elections. Nothing is certain right now, so it's hard for people to write explainers about the impacts it might have, and when those impacts may happen.

It's a bad deal all around, though, so there will be impacts if it passes and gets signed into law by Trump. Only then will we be able to fully understand the effects and when they might happen.

Sucks!

healthcare. with no explanation of who or why. I guess it is not as bad as Democrats say and worse than Republicans say. So much missinformation, the shelves at Walmart would be empty buy June, still full. There is nobody to pick the fruit and vegetables, still plenty in the stores. Prices haven't changed much either way.

I hope it’s not as bad as we are hearing. Actually I hope Speaker Preacher Johnson can’t get the Senate version through the House!

There were only about 18 people watching including me but he did a good job of laying out what is wrong in the bill.
