Disney and Comcast have bigger concerns for their shareholders and executives than what little money can be made by their news divisions. Tax cuts, mergers, and deregulation from the big R will net them more $. Of course catering to their advertisers still figures in as always. The ones where the news division is an important source of income are generally media outlets that are dedicated to enlarging the right’s echo chamber.
