She is a sociopath. She knows right from wrong, but will still shamelessly do what she believes is in HER best interest interests, then shed crocodile tears to the media.

Said she was looking out for Alaska, (basically agreeing with Rand Paul’s) thought the Bill was bad and the deadline was artificial and unnecessary. If it weren’t so awful a Bill, her comment would be comical. Not that her argument makes any sense, other than saying no one else wanted to improve the Bill so she took what she could and voted for it. Sounds like she is saying “too bad” to all the other GOP states.

They don't care.

"we are all going to die anyway."
"Americans will get over it."

Murkowski votes to advance GOP megabill after early misgivings over Medicaid, SNAP cuts

https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/5375462-murkowski-votes-to-advance-gop-megabill-after-early-misgivings-over-medicaid-snap-cuts/

"She won a victory Friday night when GOP leaders added language to the revised text of the bill that made Alaska eligible for waivers from new SNAP work requirements for able-bodied adults without dependent children.

GOP leaders increased a rural hospital relief fund from $15 billion to $25 billion and made other legislative changes to provide more money to Alaska’s hospitals and health care providers."

is the one who is out of touch with reality. It has nothing to do with "Ivory Tower Syndrome" it has to do with venality, being self serving and not having a conscience.
