But never heard his or Theil voice before.

Then things slowed. He makes an exception for digital stuff.

WTF? And how do you justify making an exception for digital??? He actually says there's a sense of stagnation.

And comparing 220 years to 50 years?

My sense is that changes speeded up after around 1990.

I'm not sure he's even being truthful.

Wow. An example of stagnation is parents are no longer expecting their kids to be "better off" than them. Globalization anyone? Does Race to the bottom ring a bell?
