How many "sawed-off" shotguns are in this country?

I saw part of a hearing where one of the experts said that there was $2 billion dollars in the budget bill to remove all taxes and penalties from "sawed-off" shotguns?

That seemed like a lot of money to me? How many "sawed-off" shotguns are out there? I have probably seen a couple in my entire life.

Where is that money going?

Because that is the type of gun you don't report that you have, isn't it?

It would be a good idea to tax meth labs too; if only people would report when they have one and how much meth they've made!
