Is the powder dry yet?

The GOP is merrily burning down the government and the Democrats are sticking with a "keep your powder dry, we'll really show them in the midterms with a proposal for a bipartisan bill to allow veterans and firefighters relief on their overdue library book fines" strategy.

Is he some sort of knowledgeable person I've never heard of? Why post here what he posts? There must be a reason you decided to post what he said without any supporting information. What is that reason, please?

other unidentified random trolls, saying some random crap. Somehow, I guess that's important enough to bring here and repost on DU.

I do not get it. Not at all. It wastes our time and seems to be designed to mislead and cause mistrust of Democrats. I'm not sure why people do that here.

9. These people really struggle with basic math. Sorry, there is no magic wand Democrats are refusing to deploy.

Blaming Democrats for what Republicans are doing is just ignorant and dumb.

that the wicked stepmother Democrats refuse to use.

That all of this was done on purpose by Republicans over the decades and only they could stop it tomorrow, take their party back from the insane extremists, is also seen as an excuse. In Opposite World Democrats are worse than Republicans. I wonder why anyone wants to live in that world and be wrong about everything and help Republicans.

14. Another whiny "Mommy, why don't those mean Democrats stop all the bad Republicans? It's easy!"

Democrats are all-powerful and can stop bad things instantly if they want to (so insults, accusations of corruption, scorn, lies must be hurled at them 24 hours a day to force them -- and still they refuse because they're weak, spineless, do nothing) and the only ones responsible for anything bad (Republicans are authentic, tough, have super dreamy messaging and spoil the working class with wonderful populist policies, sitting down with them to really listen).

Tired of people like that guy on Bluesky making comments like this which are based on hopium and not reality. What powder do we have other than protest, make speeches and try to let people know what this bill is all about? There isn’t a magic wand that will save us and elections truly have consequences and we are reaping them.
