Alligator Auschwitz!
It's a death camp. Pure and simple.
The cages have no decent ventilation, no water, no toilets. People are going to lay in those bunks and die. Bugs will get so bad no guard will want to enter the cages. Any communicable disease will run rampant in the crowded conditions. People with pre-existing conditions will die in those bunks. Healthy people will deteriorate. Any attempts at escape will be met with gunfire. The lucky ones will be the ones deported the quickest, since they will at least have a better chance of surviving, however slight, in whatever destination is chosen for them.

The deportations are not going to be quick...those people will be used as slave labor! Remember, DeSantis and the Republicans passed laws that caused large numbers of undocumented people to leave the state!

Farms and construction lost their access to cheap labor...now they'll have access to even cheaper labor. Just like the Nazis used Jews and other inmates as slave labor, DeSantis and the Florida Republicans likely already have plans to use internees in the same way.

They'll be worked to death, and when they start running short of Hispanic victims, will start going through all the other ethnic groups and also political prisoners. Any too sick or old to work will hopefully be deported quick but I expect they'll just die in those cages.
