Cuban women's volleyball team denied U.S. visa to compete in Puerto Rico

The Cuban women's national volleyball team was denied a chance to play in a tournament in Puerto Rico following the new visa restrictions imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump.

The Cuban Volleyball Federation said last week that the team, comprising 12 athletes, a referee and several coaches, had their visa request denied and will be unable to attend the tournament later this month.

"The disappointment is huge because I train every day, every hour of training is leading up to this and dedicate myself to it," national team player Laura Suarez told The Associated Press. "It's really disappointing not to be able to participate in the competition, which is what I've been preparing myself for.

In a message sent to The Associated Press, the U.S. Embassy in Cuba stated .... but that directives were being implemented to secure the borders and protect U.S. communities and citizens.

So... we deny visas to Cuban women's volleyball in order to .... secure the borders and protect U.S. communities and citizens

They're "protecting" us from these women

wonder how the Cubans in florida feel about this.

I'm still lighting a sparkler day after tomorrow, but I think I'll light it in honor of Ms. Suarez and her teammates this year.

Many U.S.A. athletes will boycott too, providing they are not forced to participate.

And what does the fuckwit king care? He despises Los Angeles as much as he despises Puerto Rico. He'll just pull some red-white-and-blue "alternative" games out his ass and "award" them to whichever state governor is the biggest suck-up.

And it will be no surprise when glorious U.S. American "heroes" win most of the events.

Pity that poor guy who answered a Craigslist ad to play a French wrestler...
