17 million Americans losing their health coverage is a national emergency

...and that national catastrophe is, incredibly, being deliberately engineered by republicans.

Kyle Griffin @kylegriffin1 6h
The Senate version of the Republican tax would wipe out many of the strides made by the Affordable Care Act in reducing the number of uninsured Americans — resulting in at least 17 million Americans losing their health coverage, according to nonpartisan estimates and experts.

losing their job. I'm talking at the state level. Every state and county will lose employees. More trained employees on unemployment? Without health insurance?

Good job Donny.

... do these unspeakably evil sociopaths think they'll going to gain from this obscene treachery? What is worth the white-hot hatred they are engendering in those they are SUPPOSED to serve? Do they WANT a civil war to tear the country apart? Putin'll love it, but those of their constituents that they put in harm's way might have other ideas, and those ideas might mean terrible things for the shitweasels with an (R) after their names. Do they think that only THEY know their way around firearms? Guess again, assholes.

17 million is an abstract number. They don't know when the cuts will kick in. They're not on Medicaid, and they don't know people who are.

Up until this big bullshit bill, Medicare was protected in the budget. After this big bullshit bill, Medicare is now subject to spending cuts by the OMB. This wasn't the case in the past. And the OMB is now being run by one of the architects of project 2025.

MAGA doesn't know how to govern, but the sneaky bastards know how to distract and swindle the masses. Watch for stories on Fox proving that Democrats were crying wolf when the shit does NOT hit the fan right away. Then after the poorly educated vote again for the Republicans--wham, the doctor is not in.
