This could never happen under a Democratic President? I'm not so sure anymore

It makes no sense to "imagine" a Democratic President acting in such an authoritarian, fascist way.

I am a Democratic voter. I move in circles of other Democratic voters. Not one single Democratic voter I know, would ever allow such unhinged, authoritarian fascist moves from our elected leaders.

It explains why the Supreme Court is so willing to remove the guardrails from executive power. They know that only a Retrumplican executive could get away with this crap.

Not a single Democratic voter that I know, wants a Democratic President to send unidentified, heavily armed, masked thugs into Retrumplican areas of the country and start beating the shit out of Uncle Ray and Aunt Virginia.

Not a single Democratic voter I know, wants a Dem appointed AG to prosecute Regent, Liberty, or any of the other Christofascist universities, or cut off their research funding.

No Democratic voter I know, wants a Democratic Executive to pardon violent felons that tried to sieze the Capitol and destroy American democracy.

It is just impossible to imagine political vengeance coming from the left...at least it used to be.

How far can rational people be pushed?

When do Democratic voters start to say; "fuck it, I want the Democratic president to bust some heads in these rural shitshow areas of America?"

That just won't happen. The first people that would turn on a Democratic President for doing this vile shit to our fellow Americans, would be the very voters that put them in power.

That's the crux of the problem.

Donnie Dipshit is a "pimp". That's all he is.

But, it appears that a lot of the people walking around us every day are perfectly fine with this vile shit.

It's not that they "didn't know" who and WTF Donnie Dipshit is...they fucking crave who and what he is.

A little less than half the country, are fine with their fellow Americans being maimed and killed, as long as Donnie Dipshit is hurting the people they want to see maimed and murdered.

Sadly, quite a lot of those that embrace, support and cheer for this cruelty, are our very own "friends", families, co-workers, neighbors, fellow parishioners and community members.

We'll NEVER be like them, and that's both a blessing and a curse.

I only want to hear about their concrete plans to use every lever of power to hold this regime accountable, reverse as much damage as possible, and enact bold progressive policies.
