Update: 217 nays, 207 yeas, 8 GOP NVs...looks like this procedural vote is going to fail

Not sure if the Speaker's vote is included in this tally, but I assume so.

3. I believe there is still time for their clueless leader to threaten any of the four into changing their vote.

They need at least 6 more votes if no Republicans end up voting no. And if some do, then they need 10 more votes for a majority.

9. What exactly gives you hope that this terrible bill won't be passed?

Maybe this vote fails, but there will be more as needed and right now the four No’s look pretty lonely. They will not be able to withstand Trump’s attacks.

11. A Bill will pass. It doesn't appear to me like it will be the same version of the bill as what the Senate passed.

Which means it needs to go back to the Senate again. It's not remotely clear at this point what the final bill that passes both the House and Senate will look like.

After they got “assurances” from the White House (what is that worth?) and may get future opportunities to do more cuts.

It doesn’t give me any joy to be right but this is the reality we have to confront. No Republican will save us.
