The count say there are 8 republican non-voters Renew Deal Jul 2025 #7
Right. So if all the non voters switched to YES, they'd still need 2 NOs to flip to YES Wiz Imp Jul 2025 #8

Massie is definitely voting against the final bill, but apparently it was thought he would not object to the rule. At this point, I doubt he changes his mind. If those 2 stick to their no votes , then they would need the other 3 no's to flip PLUS 5 current nonvoters. It's kind of hard for me to imagine that happens at this point. If all of those people were going to vote yes, then why haven't they done that yet after being harassed about it for like 16 straight hours today already? I mean, it's been at least 3 hours since I started paying attention, ant the only movement has been Massie switching from no vote to NO. If their arm twisting and threats were working, wouldn't somebody have switched from NO or no vote to YES by now?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
