Newlywed detained by ICE while returing from honeymoon speaks publicly
An Arlington newlywed fears deportation for his wife, with no citizenship despite a green card application

By Allie Spillyards

A newlywed Arlington woman will speak publicly for the first time Thursday after she was detained by ICE for five months.

Ward Sakeik, a 22-year-old stateless Palestinian woman who has lived in the United States since she was 8 years old, was detained by ICE in February after boarding a flight in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Sakeik was returning home from her honeymoon with her husband, Taahir Shaikh, but she now fears she'll be deported and have no country to call home.

The couple says that on June 12, ICE attempted to deport her to Israel, but an emergency order from a federal court blocked her removal. On June 30, ICE attempted to deport her again, but legal intervention halted the flight, the family said.

“The past 12 months of my life has just been the highest of the highs and the lowest of the lows. You go from buying your first home, planning your dream wedding, attending that wedding, going on your honeymoon, to being separated for over 120 days,” said Shaikh.

"This is a 75-year-old story, a story of overwhelming death and displacement to the Palestinian people. It is a story of an occupation under apartheid regime that occupies lands, demolishes houses, confiscates lands, military incursions, night raids.” - Jordon’s Queen Rania,

“this is completely genocide and ethnic cleansing…. attacked babies, children, women, the elderly, the disabled, hospitals, ambulances, medics, schools, teachers, residential complexes, worship places ….You have destroyed the international rules of the game, insulted the authority of the UN, torn apart the sense of justice, and hurt human values, and tarnished the face of human civilization."

Only Judea, Samara and Phoenicia. This is the fault of lazy drunken European elites that promised the same land to two disparate peoples and have done little to nothing to ever redress this mistake. In no way am I saying Jewish people can't exist and have a nation, but their historical nation was Judea upon a smaller area than they now occupy.

but I don't think there was ever a country of Palestine. There was the Palestinian territory though.

But evil is the norm. Evil is what a sociopath is, for he/she has no empathy and only evil can come from that.

… so did Dearborn.

Muslims who voted for Trump allowed this to happen. Ditto for Latinos.
