Rally for the Midterms

In Ohio, rumpy said that they needed to win the Midterms. He pointed to this Trash Bill as a focal point that they could use against Dems.

I say, we better fight tooth and nail to win everything in the Midterm. Trump is talking like he's gonna let an election occur. None of the major effects of the Bill will happen before Midterms. Thus, the pain of what they have done to us will not be visible to the Electorate. That means there will probably be an Election in 2026, or at least a sham one. Somehow, we must win that.

Rumpy puts a lot of faith in his redirect to whatever issue he wants to use. It's time for us to dominate the narrative, starting NOW, in order to win.

We need to win the Midterms. It cannot be emphasized enough. Ignore the past, put a major effort into it, get the job done. There will be many disenfranchised voters who lost their job due to rump's destruction of our government infrastructure. It would be ironic if that's what it took to win the Midterms.

1. Definitely need to win House at least. I fear we'll run on trump is a POS, rather than something positive. He is a POS

but that hasn't deterred voters from supporting trump and his backers.

"are you better off?" bit for starters. Arguably, there are millions who are not. Talk about food insecurity, now hospital insecurity, health insecurity. All the basic, bottom line issues that most understand. Don't talk tariffs so much. Talk about prices going up.

Tell them not to get pregnant or have a baby due to reduced services, or the danger of a pregnancy becoming lethal for Mom with no hope of help. Talk about those that died in the parking lot.

And, so on and so forth. Don't try to educate on the deeper aspects. Just tell them what they now lack and who is to blame for it. It ain't us.

One issue that always makes blood boil is to contrast the rich grift by the rump adminstration while everyone else is getting poorer. That's not too hard to understand. Do YOU have a $400 million dollar jet? No? Then why do you want to use your tax dollars to refurbish HIS new jet?

Some MAGA will never be swayed. They're hopeless. But, others will be.

3. Basically agree. Although I'd avoid the Qatar plane bit because it's not trump's and is easily rebutted. He can buy it

if he wants at FMV. I'm OK with that, other trump actions not so much.

But, yes the "are you better off" is an approach. So is explaining what we want to do with healthcare, education, etc.

Sure, he'll take it with him when (if) he goes. I think it stinks that WE will be paying the cost of the upgrades and refurbishing. And, I doubt that he will pay anything for it. Nope, he'll just board it and fly off, and nobody will come after him to get the FMV. There's no way he'll pay the cost for it. He will shelter it under the library bit, and then, up and away!

5. Legally he'll have to pay. Obama had same option when Saudis gave him and Michelle a million bucks in jewelry, he let

it go to the government though.

Any upgrades to plane would be factored into FMV of plane. I bet trump doesn't take it.

But, I'm sure he's looking for loopholes.
