My neighborhood July 4th 'parade' was a bust. Nobody showed.

Our neighborhood has a yearly July 4th “parade”.

It’s always been small, but today it was nonexistent.

Maybe 15 adults walking
Maybe 5 kids on their bikes.
Two large golf carts with maybe 2 adults w/ 4 kids
And 4 cars followed

And one City fire truck

Lame.

And then our local park by the public elementary school
has the “neighborhood” group’s hotdogs and water, sodas

I just drove by,,,,,park ‘party’, pathetic turnout.
I counted about 20 cars,
Couldn’t have been 50 to 60 people
And maybe 12 firefighters getting their free hotdogs

And the weather is good, low 80s
Mostly cloudy.

NOBODY wants to celebrate this 4th
Why when this fricken tyrant is shitting on American Democracy

And EVERYONE who showed up apparently are WHITE,
with the exception of one Asian family, and one Hispanic family
(from a quick look by me)

Who wants to celebrate today’s America? Where cruelty, bigotry, and selfishness are what our government stands for.
