I joined the Navy, My Buddy joined the Air Force. Both in the delayed enlistment program. We both had a three month wait to go to basic. My Buddy never made it to the AF. An explosive device did major damage to his right hand on the 4th of July. He held it just a little too long.

Meanwhile the DAV relies on charitable contributions. Without DAVs we’d have no freedom to celebrate. As Belle would say, its just a thought.
