The overwhelming majority of the people heading for the immigrant detention camp in a Florida swamp, and the ones to follow in other locations will be made up people just trying to survive.

So I believe using the language of "Alcatraz" works toward *rump's propaganda messaging; that all immigrants are dangerous criminals, robbing, raping and murdering.

4. Reopening Alcatraz is, quite obviously, a stupid idea.

But because it is Trump's idea, it is getting serious consideration. I believe someone is going to work the numbers and convince the President that this is not feasible. Eventually. At which point Trump will claim he decided against it, all on his own. Or something like that.

5. They're going there to be beyond reach, so their stories won't be heard. So it's more like "Gator Gitmo".
