Gutless Republicans

Why on earth do we keep hearing that those poor little Republicans going along with Trump do so because they are scared? All forms of media stars continue to regurgitate this crap as a plausible explanation for Republican’s abject failure. We’re told many Republicans really don’t like this policy or that bill but they simply MUST go along with Trump because otherwise he might do something awful to them.

What a dreadful thing for these national leaders to contemplate. Imagine being in their expensive shoes. They’re so frightened of Trump that they feel compelled to give approval for “Alligator Alcatraz” or sending “illegals” to Sudan or taking SNAP benefits away from children or discontinuing benefits veterans have earned. Their inner terror forces them to ignore the Constitution and overlook their own rules. They’ll allow for the erasure of black history, stay silent as our national character is redefined and even watch from the sidelines as the Rose Garden is covered with concrete.

This BS explanation for Republicans’ failure at oversight is as empty as Trump’s soul. Democrats should kick the volume up a notch and call Dark Red Cowardice by it’s real name

They are not cowards, they are traitors.

They work for themselves, Putin, and the billionaires.

Every time they get into power, they rob us blind and trash the joint. We throw them out of office, and elect Democrats to clean up their mess. And, when a bit of time passes by, they fear-monger about the deficit, socialism, evil brown people coming for your jobs and money, and all of their other boogeymen. Next thing you know, they're back in, and at it again. Every. Fucking. Time.

When you read that abomination of a bill, please note that much of the worst of it doesn't kick in until AFTER the mid-terms. They know they can use the short memories of the American people to put the blame for the mess they created on the Democrats, and people will fall for it, like they do every other time. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Time to break that cycle. Never let the people forget.
