the terrifying truth about why Tesla's cars keep crashing

Long article about how seriously dangerous Tesla cars are. Musk must be happy he squashed all the investigations into his companies. The flaws are numerous, but the upshot is Tesla's kill people because they use untested technology and then hide the faults.
One example from the article.

There’s more. Two years prior, the NHTSA had flagged something strange – something suspicious. In a separate report, it documented 16 cases in which Tesla vehicles crashed into stationary emergency vehicles. In each, autopilot disengaged “less than one second before impact” – far too little time for the driver to react. Critics warn that this behaviour could allow Tesla to argue in court that autopilot was not active at the moment of impact, potentially dodging responsibility.

Musk. He's beneath contempt and his shitty car company has been exposed for what it is. The sales numbers are showing that people are now aware:

Musk goes after them personally and ignores their warnings.

Read the story of Cristina Balan, who was fired in 2014 when she tried to warn the company of a potentially lethal safety flaw (that could have been easily fixed),

Or Missy Cummings, a female engineer who dared to criticize Musk. https://9thstreetjournal.org/2022/04/15/how-elon-musk-and-his-trolls-attacked-a-duke-professor-on-twitter/

Notice that many of the first agencies his dodgy group shut down were those investigating his and idjits companies.
When they first came out, I thought about getting one for my husband, because Nikolai Tesla is one of his heroes. The more we read and heard about them, though, the more we said no. Nikolai must be rolling in his grave to have an idiot like eloon running a company bearing his name.

I say, “I don’t trust the government but I trust multinational corporations and industries even less. Our government is the only entity that can stand up to those multinational corporations and industries to protect consumers, employees, our environment, etc.”

we’re agencies that had tried to reel in Musk.

— USAID actively opposed apartheid in Musk’s home South Africa
— SEC had several fraud, price-fixing, etc investigations
—NHTSA had investigations into Tesla

All shut down
