Today’s homeland security operation at the 35-acre MacArthur Park in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles was a mere “show of presence,” internal Army documents I’ve obtained say. ICE and Customs agents, many dressed in military garb, assaulted the Park, which the documents describe as a hotbed of “historic lawlessness” and “the founding location of MS-13,” the Salvadoran gang.

The news media is describing the operation as an ominous crackdown, but National Guard sources tell me that it was a botched laughingstock. The military aspect of the operation, codenamed Operation Excalibur, has not been previously reported.

I'm thinking this was an attempt to use the BFE circa 2002 strategy to re-create the Green Zone in LA; then expanding outwards to take out opposition insurgency.
Big problem. LA is not Baghdad. And these are allUS citizens - especially all of the various gang members.

The Retrumplicans have been doing this for years. As precedence, the footage of supposed rioting in Portland OR that never happened in 2019 - 2020. Also, all of the footage of Trump waving to non-existent crowds all through his campaign.

Although, it seems nonsensical and easily debunked, I would put this sort of propaganda generation at a moderate threat level considering the state of the MSM in the US.

MS-13 really does operate around MacArthur Park, but the fact is that their victims are local immigrant businesspeople, vendors, and trranspeople who they extort to "keep them safe" the way the mafia did. They really pose no threat to anyone outside the community, but they brutalize other immigrants around the park who cross them and, color me skeptical, but I have a hard time believing these federal thugs care very much about trans women who walk through the park or owners of small businesses catering to the Salvadoran and Guatemalan communities.

And, shockingly, there's no evidence that they busted a single member of Mierda-Seca 13.
