I know that people don't like talking about Hitler
but I think understanding how Hitler got there is important to understand. I watched a documentary with many similarities to rump. Small things, such as feeling God was on his side, and such, after assassination attempts. Hitler had 11, rump has had 3. His ramping up hatred of his targets, Jews. His urging them to self deport, same as rump did.
Rump went from Mexicans at the border, to undocumented (illegal) immigrants, to naturalized citizens, to regular citizens...He is now stating in a speech how much he hates Dems. He has persistently escalated his hatred of everybody. He has implemented this deportation plan complete with camps and prisons to put them in. It used to be that deported people were just flown out and dismissed. Now, they are criminalized without due process.
This is a documentary about 1:44 hrs long. There are a lot of recaps, but give it a chance. This is Part 1 and Part 2 hooked together, from birth to his own suicide. Good historical images, but the emphasis is on what happened to turn him into a monster. It was stated that almost as soon as he died, Germany and the rest of the world were better. That's what we can anticipate. I believe rump is eating himself to death. But, Hitler was ill in the later days, too, from stress, taking as many as 20 shots a day, and problems with his hands.
Try it when you have time. Narrator is easy to listen to as well.
