The press should just walk out shut the cameras off. This is not a press conference this is the worst joke I have ever seen.

(32,088 posts)Let him keep digging himself in deeper and deeper. The more people hear the shit he's spewing, the more people are going to be disgusted with him. And, the sooner he will be ostracized from sane society.

(7,820 posts)I say let him talk. Maybe I'm Pollyanish, but I think he's showing what a an evil whack job he is, and I think most viewers will have no appetite for it in the wake of this tragedy. I can hope so anyway.

(16,993 posts)I wonder how distasteful this is to people right now. I think the public attitude about the NRA, gun ownership, etc., has changed, and is continuing to change. Hopefully, this will backfire on the NRA and turn even more people against them.

(2,679 posts)At first my thought pull the plug. Then like some of the other posts state no let him continue to hang himself. But then I re-thought and wanted it pulled and posted my post, but here is why. He tricked the press. This was not a press conference. This was an infomercial and thank God msnbc cut away. It was crap too. The press should have walked out halfway through the "why this is everyone else's fault but the nras and we need to life in a locked town society," spewing or meaning sewage that has become the nra mission statement.
I still think the press should have just walked out left one camera going and went and interviewed the 2 protesters.
