apples, oranges, lemons, cucumber, squash, tomatos, radishes, spinach, kale, arugula, dandelion, asparagus, green onions, brocollini, and carrots. I eat mostly meat so i give most of what i grow to neighbors.

excludes every apartment dweller and renter. It also mostly excludes single parents with full time jobs and/or children, people who live on land with no sun, is otherwise not arable, wetland, etc. Not to mention that some of us live at latitudes and elevations that limit most fruit crops. The homesteaders and preppers i know are honest that it's not for everyone and that it's a privilege to be able to consider it.

...the bishop of that diocese, Alberto Rojas, waived any obligation to attend mass for parishioners fearing immigration raids. (Rojas, who was born and raised in Mexico, was appointed to his position in 2020 by Pope Francis.)
