The roller coaster of manipulation of the markets!

Once again, Trump had managed to screw with the markets! His tariffs on copper and on Canada has the market in a downward projection and that was in the first hour!

For a long term investor, short term volatility isn't reall important. Dollar cost averaging takes care of the risk. I plan ot retire in 8 years. I'm not really TOO worried about the market fluctuating a half percent or more a day. I AM concerned about where it will be in 8 years.

I look at my investment accounts twice a year. Playing the market hour to hour or day to day is for folks way more savvy than me.
