Where do all the new ICE agents come from?

With a huge influx of money for ICE, they are adding hundreds of new agents. Where are these people coming from? Ex-military? Washed up or booted out former cops? Are they getting any training in handling civilians, both the ones they are arresting and those that are witnesses? How far are people going to let this go before there is violence. From what little I have seen, there are occasionally large crowds around the abductions. What if a couple of people in the crowd are armed and starting shooting agents? That may sound extreme, but is it really? If you live somewhere where abductions are an everyday thing, a small group of like minded individuals could go rogue as vigilantes and start taking matters into their own hands to protect neighbors and friends. I do not disagree with them.

Analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions where you will be expected to make arrests after the completion of required training and apply these skills in a law enforcement capacity such as criminal code enforcement, determining violations of laws, correctional or rehabilitation work involving criminal offenders, security, military, etc.
The above experience will be applied in connection with the Border Patrol Individual Occupational Requirement: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.

Education Substitution: A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement, which is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average (i.e., GPA of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0), or (3) honor society membership. Submitted transcripts must show the applicant does not have more than 10% pass/fail courses in order to qualify for SAA with GPA.
