OK, today is Saturday July 12th! I am home and feeling much more like myself! My lacerated scalp is healing well and the single staple that I got will come out in a few days.
Thank you all for your support, your love and respect and your caring words!

I wonder about concussion symptoms, if that's relevant? I had one years ago where I lost about 2 weeks of memories. I had swelling of my brain which took me about a year to recover from.

It also took me a while to remember the names of common items. I spent a couple weeks laying on the couch
trying to remember things like table, lamp, carpet, etc. Eventually it all came back, but it took some effort.

I hope you don't have to go through that!
