6. Believe it or not, California is the biggest agricultural state

You mess with California's farm workers, you mess up the nation's food supply AND the national economy.

4. Dairy farms can't afford to lose workers. The cows have to be milked twice a day or they go dry.

Once they go dry, they have to give birth to a calf to bring their milk back in.
That's about 9 months of no milk from that cow. Milk prices would soar.
It also is bad for the cow, causing anything from extreme discomfort to serious health problems.
