ICE raids on U.S. farms threaten food production

What are farmers to do come harvest time, when the government is deporting migrant workers? If you're President Trump's Agriculture Secretary, you offer those jobs to Americans who want to keep their Medicaid benefits. KFF’s Health News’ Julie Rovner and Penn’s Zeke Hernandez, author of ‘The Truth About Immigration,’ explain why the premise is wrong, and the solution is worse.

Sorry, I was specifically thinking about the licensed cannabis farm in Ventura County that was raided the other day where they arrested 200+ people.

So, yes, this is messing with the entire economy.

You mess with California's farm workers, you mess up the nation's food supply AND the national economy.

Once they go dry, they have to give birth to a calf to bring their milk back in.
That's about 9 months of no milk from that cow. Milk prices would soar.
It also is bad for the cow, causing anything from extreme discomfort to serious health problems.
