This is the religion that gave us:
The Crusades
The Inquisition
Witch burning
Forced conversions
Colonial genocide
State Church executions
Child abuse under the cross

This wasn't fringe

This was church-sanctioned, scripture-justified violence, inflicted over centuries in the name of God.
