8. Westbound 78 was closed, under water around 5;00 p.m. -- New Providence/Murray Hill.

Water came from the Bell Labs hill and down to the sound barriers. It then poured THROUGH cracks in the barriers and onto the highway. The Jersey barriers stopped the water from going onto the eastbound lanes.

All traffic westbound traffic was stopped .
