White House Tries to Shake Off Trump's Bizarre Hand Make-Up

Trump was speaking to reporters when a camera zoomed in on the president’s hand.

The mysterious recurring bruise on the back of Donald Trump’s right hand reappeared on Tuesday, prompting a fresh wave of concern over the president’s health.

Trump, 79, was spotted with a healthy dose of flesh-colored concealer on his hand as he was photographed boarding Marine One at the White House on his way to Pittsburgh. Trump was speaking to reporters about Russian President Vladimir Putin when a cameraman spotted his hand and zoomed in for a closer look.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told the Daily Beast that the bruise is due to the president’s serial handshaking.

When asked if any medical reasons could explain the bruise, Leavitt said, “President Trump is a man of the people and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other President in history. His commitment is unwavering and he proves that every single day.” Leavitt made similar comments last month.

First of all since when is Trump, a known germaphone who shuns physical contact as much as possible, a "serial handshaker"? Second, why isn't the bruising showing up on the sides of the hand, where the most pressure is applied during a handshake, instead of the back of the hand, where little pressure is applied?

Finally, and I know from experience, that bruising, which shows up on generally a monthly basis, is the result of two things. First, he is getting an IV treatment for some reason, every month. The back of the hand is where they stick you, especially older patients, because it is an easier stick. Secondly, to leave such a bruise he has to be on a blood thinner. Even in older patients, you don't get that kind of widespread. bruising unless you're on a blood thinner. As such this means he has a heart problem, is at risk for strokes, or some combination thereof. Combine the two, IV treatments and blood thinners, and you have a man who could kick off at anytime.

Is that where the fingers (which might squeeze to cause a bruise) fall?

(The thumb falls there, but anyone squeezing hard enough to cause a bruise with their tum will also cause a bruise with their fingers - on the outside of the back of the hand.)

I am a type II diabetic with some kidney issues and have had a ton of blood work done. I have had to have blood drawn from my hands on several occasions. trump is not well
