She is an evil woman, but she is not stupid.
As I said, safeguards, it could be released if she dies. It could be released to lawyers, media etc. Jeffery kept all his 'books' in a safe at his house of all places. He was stupid and she is not and that is why she is still alive, and Jeff is dead.
Just my thoughts, but I think it is as safe bet.
