Trump will appoint two young MAGAts to the Court, one of them being this guy Bove, the other will be equally bad.

Does not matter who is elected in 2028 -- if we have elections -- because MAGAts will control the Court 6-3 for decades.

Our passports have expired, we are getting new ones next week.

1. I'm afraid you're right. The other one could be Aileen Cannon.

But, sad to say, there is a deep bench of lawyers besides her and Bove who seem equally happy to violate the Constitution they swore to uphold in exchange for career success, even if regularly blowing Trump is the price, even if they have to swallow (sorry about the gross metaphor). When I was admitted to the bar in my state I swore this oath: "You do swear that you will support the Constitution of the United States and that of the state of Minnesota, and will conduct yourself as an attorney and counselor at law in an upright and courteous manner, to the best of your learning and ability, with all good fidelity as well to the court as to the client, and that you will use no falsehood or deceit, nor delay any person's cause for lucre or malice." I'm assuming all states have an equivalent, and all these miscreants took one as eager young lawyers, before they got warped by MAGA and visions of power and influence.

I'm retired now and I never once pissed on my oath - but evidently, and sadly, there are plenty of lawyers who would, in a heartbeat.

2. Who says Ds have to comply with the current rules and laws that the USSC has not upheld and that the Rs have been

violating.

When Ds get a majority they should re-write and update the Constitution, laws and everything else so that the USSC judges and these judges f47 has appointed can be thrown out . If the Ds aren't committed to writing us a new future what is the point in fighting to preserve our rights today??
