I’ve been investigating Paramount’s deal with Trump. Here’s what we know:

- Trump sued CBS
- CBS called the lawsuit “meritless”
- Paramount (owner of CBS) still settled, handing $16 MILLION+ to Trump’s library
- Paramount has a billion-dollar deal that needs Trump’s approval

8. Don't look at me

I stopped watching broadcast news in 2004, can't think of any reason to start again.

I haven't watched TV in over 3 years, blindness is only part of that. I found a radio with VHF bands, haven't put fresh batteries in, might do it for PBS but certainly not the sewer sludge the commercial networks serve up.

I've got the batteries, maybe one of these days I'll get them from the drawer 5 feet away and into the radio sitting in front of me. Yeah, one of these days. Maybe.

4. Was a repeatedly Emmy nominated show

whose host was highly critical of Trump and his MAGA fascists,

cancelled for political reasons right after Paramount CAVED to the convicted felon, rapist, and Insurrectionist who's attacking the media and dismantling democracy?

I think we KNOW the answer already.
