Epstein had legitimate business dealings with people like Bill Gates

He was a financier who put together deals.

The difference between Bill Gates and even Clinton is whether they repeatedly frequented his pedo palaces.

Show me the number of trips made by Trump vs. others…the number of calls. We need more than names we need context.

This is why his wife divorced his ass.
He humiliated her once too often.

The Epstein horror show was the final straw.

1. https://nypost.com/2021/05/10/bill-gates-womanizer-held-nude-pool-parties-biographer/
"Gates would visit one of Seattle’s all-nude nightclubs and hire dancers to come to his home
and swim naked with his friends in his indoor pool,"

2.https://thehill.com/changing-america/respect/equality/553918-bill-gatess-reputation-reeling-from-affairs-uncomfortable/
Bill having affairs in the workplace and being accused of sexual harassment. Had to pay off employees.

"The Journal also reported that the breaking point to their marriage started when Melinda was upset at Bill for wanting to arrange a meeting with Epstein in 2011, which marks three years after Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor for prostitution.

3. Interesting as I was researching this topic, Google refused to show more articles stating my search was a violation
of Bill Gate's privacy. But at the time of the Gates' divorce there were quite a few stories about how Bill was a constant
in the Seattle nightclub scene, complete with hookers and party girls. I guess when you are rich you can get all those stories
erased from the internet and then have AI give you a stupid lecture.

Bill Gates didn't give a damn about the privacy of the young girls he was raping at Epstein parties.

Not denying the stories of course.

But yes at the time of the divorce there were many stories about Bill Gates and his visits to nightclubs
with strippers and hookers.

...anyone can request that a Google search result about them can be removed. There are reasons why they might not, and we don't have "the right to be forgotten" that other countries do, but it is an option.

(I'll dig up a link to be sure it's still a possibility.) (Update: yep, and improved it.)

I suspect this is one of those internet features that are implemented to stave off actual regulations and laws to protect privacy, but hey, we won't be getting those ever.

I have never seen any indication of that.

A lot of "philanthropists" give money in return for good publicity and attention. Their gifts also open doors for them.

There have been a number of scandals involving big name donors. Giving away money doesn't prove you're a good person.

...can be a form of money laundering, exchanging it for social credit, influence, tax deductions, etc. Epstein donated a lot to Harvard, I think...which gave him privileges he wouldn't have had otherwise, as a non-alumnus.

I'm not saying that's what he did -- I suspect a lot will come out with any investigation into the $1.5 billion.

Using Bill Gates as a messenger of light and having "legitimate" business deals with Epstein is obfuscating at best.

Gates is a philandering, controlling, gently smiling authoritarian piece of shit.

Don't elevate him at all when discussing Epstein.

Bill Gates to give most of his $200bn fortune to Africa
2 June 2025

The Gates Foundation said it had three priorities: ending preventable deaths of mothers and babies, ensuring the next generation grows up without having to suffer from deadly infectious diseases, and lifting millions of people out of poverty.

Gates, per NYT, met Epstein in 2011. He and Melinda were active in public health in Africa for a decade or more by then.

I'm not saying he isn't smarmy. But anyone who wants to see him as entirely evil has to reckon with the millions of lives he's helped save through maternal health programs, HIV prevention, anti-malaria efforts, nutritious rice distribution, and lots else.

Black and white thinking isn't reality-based this time - as valid as it may be as a personal preference.

To keep anything about Epstein hidden.

The only time the government is so paranoid about keeping things this secret is when it claims it’s about “national security” and usually of course it’s a bullshit excuse. That’s why we it has taken decades even for the Kennedy assassination stuff to come out.

I’m convinced it’s to avoid embarrassing a certain country in the Middle East, who I believe cultivated ties with Maxwell or her father.

that it benefits him to have a (legitimate) connection with Clinton. I think he also gave money to prestigious universities. He also contributed to political campaigns, probably because big donations do give access. Though I think all of us would wish to get money out of politics, it is a legitimate way to get access. He likely needed a cloak of respectability to draw in many of the powerful who had dark urges he satisfied and then presumably blackmailed.

I think the money trail that Senator Wyden and staff are following may prove far more than the files. Knowing who sent money would be very interesting as it might be very hard to define a reason for doing so.
