Is trump still cheating at golf? Why does he feel a need to cheat?

He has a pathological fear of being thought of as “less than” or, as he would say, “a loser”.

He needs to feel better than others.

He needs admiration.

Everything is transactional and “winning” is the only acceptable outcome including for games. Cheating, fraud, lies, intimidation are all allowed as long as trump gets the win.

He has no empathy for anyone or anything. I very much doubt he has ever apologized for anything in his life.

He cheats.

Trump has been known to say, “I cheat on my taxes. I cheat on my wives. You don’t think I’m going to cheat at golf on a course that I own?!”

There’s a book called “Commander in Cheat” by Sports Illustrated writer, Rick Reilly, that details Trump’s life in the golf world. He’s infamous as a cheat. He even cheated on Tiger Woods!

There are several YouTube videos of Reilly telling stories of Trump’s disgusting behavior on golf courses. Except that they are infuriating to honest golfers, the videos are entertaining.

Golf is a game of skills and honor. These are qualities sadly lacking in Trump’s persona.
