MSNBC - 'Snake oil salesman': Jeff Daniels blasts Trump, MAGA GOP enablers
Jeff Daniels joins Nicolle Wallace on “The Best People” podcast for a wide-ranging interview on acting, singing, and yes, a lot of Trump talk. Daniels recounts his amazing career from “Dumb and Dumber” to the “To Kill a Mockingbird” stage. Nicolle and Jeff dive deep into politics. Daniels can’t believe how far the GOP has fallen under President Trump by recounting what he studied playing President Reagan. He also blames Mitch McConnell for a move he made that helped fuel Trumpism. Through it all, Daniels says he still has “hope” and in an amazing moment plays guitar and sings for Nicolle.
