I watched the entire interview and I didn't see Hunter's response as anything but justified anger at how his father was treated by some of the elites in the party. A sentiment many agree with. His response wasn't a "I want a do-over for my dad!"; it was the response of a son who loves his dad and saw, up close, his dad having everyone else's back, only to have those turn on him and cause his dad great pain.
