(1,136 posts)Straight out of authoritarian playbook.
They do not like ridicule or to be mocked.
Trump's fantasy is that all of the late night hosts go away.
He has already said that by saying Kimmel is next.
Although, Kimmel had already hinted that he may leave in 2026 when his contact expires.
If it happened, Trump will take credit for it; when he had nothing to do with it.
Trump is humorless to begin with.
There was a Curb Your Enthusiasm episode where Larry David wore a MAGA hat in order to get out of certain social situations in LA.
Trump liked the episode; not realizing it was satire.

(113,551 posts)(yeah, I know, but it is already prepaid through the next six months), I am making it a point to stream it the next day if possible.
So, if he gets that many new viewers, and the merger supposedly is supposed to be approved or rejected by FCC in October, maybe he'll receive a reprieve?

(4,936 posts)You dont quit. You dont resign in protest. You attack until they make you leave.
Would that all those cowardly government officials figured this out.

(34 posts)Like Voltaire, Twain, etc., I think that Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart are the humorists we need.
