With respect, STFU about Biden. Just shut the muther-fuck up... stop looking in the rearview mirror. FFS we are NOT heading in that direction! Seize the day! Focus on the present. And find a mental health professional to work-through ALL your "Biden" issues!
Thank you.

A bit skinny too. Reminds me of Lincoln. Now Lincoln was pretty cool also. Supposedly he could wrestle. Teddy could wrestle also and ride a horse really well. Ulysses S. Grant could ride a horse really well also. He was actually arrested for speeding in his horse buggy where he said he was “exercising his fast gray nag.” He offered to pay the fine, but “expressed his doubts of their authority to arrest him and drove off,”. Later he paid it. This was before he was president. Washington though, he is the only one to give up the Presidency. What were we talking about?

We all have a bunch of less-polite words to describe him, accurately!

I know my opinion doesn't count coz I'm not American, but I thought he was the best President ever, He wasn't a doddery, ancient old guy, he was cool, he was a smoker, a great orator and really did care about people. I wish there was another Obama in the wings to take over and repair the damage to the US that's being done now.

https://www.thecut.com/article/mercury-retrograde-july-2025-what-to-expect-how-to-survive.html]

Mercury retrograde begins again on Friday, July 18, and for the next three weeks, you can expect life to get a little more annoying: tech glitches, scheduling mix-ups, delayed flights, and a whole lot of miscommunication. It’s almost Leo season, baby, we gotta keep the drama high! So what does this particular Mercury retrograde mean, and how can you navigate it while maintaining your dignity? Read on for everything you need to know about this upcoming backward balancing act.
Wait, so is Mercury retrograde right now?

Personal note: While I don't follow the whole woo woo astrological stuff, I have to admit a bunch of stuff has gone pretty catty wompus in my life, and the nation's, of late. I take some comfort knowing The Felon is dealing with much bigger problems than me and my dead microwave, dying computer monitor and really bizarre texts and voicemail messages.

Mercury rules communication, travel, thought, coordination, and — in our modern era — all things digital. When Mercury is functioning normally, it helps us make sense of the world, and whatever zodiac sign Mercury is passing through reveals the style of expression it embodies. For example, when Mercury is in Virgo, it’s analytical and precise, whereas when Mercury is in Aquarius, it’s innovative and rebellious.
...

This retrograde takes place entirely in Leo, a fire sign known for big personalities, strong opinions, and (on a bad day) ego meltdowns. When Mercury backspins through this sign, our communication gets louder, bolder, and perhaps a bit too self-assured. This retrograde is all about impressions, expression, and how we perform. Expect hot takes that age poorly, very public crash-outs, and group chats that spiral into unnecessary drama. Leo wants to be seen and heard — but during Mercury retrograde, we may end up losing the plot.

Because Leo rules creativity, romance, and the heart itself, don’t be surprised if this retrograde also messes with your passion projects, love life, and self-worth. You might second-guess your latest masterpiece, misinterpret a flirty text, or go full spiral about whether anyone actually likes you at all. Think of this as Act Two of your favorite rom-com, when everything is falling apart and the main character (that’s you) isn’t sure how it’s ever going to resolve. The stakes are high!

Mercury will be retrograde three times in 2025.

I was perfectly happy with Biden. I was not thrilled with all of his choices for his sidekicks, but I was quite content with his presidency as a whole. The country did a quite, unnoisy, about-face with sensible economy and foreign policy, and plenty of time spent on quiet, hard work, full-time damage control from the first Trumpanzee administration. It was a job that could never be completed in just four years, but we were well on our way. People with deep Biden issues are probably far less in number than the OP would have us believe, but there's one thing the OP has exactly right--anyone who has them isn't going to get them solved obsessing over them now.

He came from an era where there was bipartisanship in US politics and went into his term thinking he could bring that back. He thought that in doing the right thing and distancing himself from the DOJ and basically behaving like US presidents have in the past, that people would heal from the hate that Trump had brought out in his cult members.

Why I think it's time to move on from Biden is to let the poor bloke have a decent retirement. There's no need to keep on bringing him up or blaming him or anything. He tried his hardest and did the best he could, but now it's time for the US to look for leaders who will bring the fight to the fascists who've taken over the US. Hopefully those new leaders will give credit to Biden in years to come.

Agree with you!

Doesn't take much to get banned on here. I've seen some ultra thin skinned peeps on here flagging and banning for petty, silly stuff. Like we're in middle school or something. Peeps who can't take hard truths every now and then.

Keep speaking your mind ZDU.....you'd think as Dems we would WANT and ENCOURAGE that. We have to hear each other out whether we agree or not.

Well, none of us can handle serious criticism obviously. That would be way out of line. I mean just think of it......critical thinking and self evaluation as a party.....oh no! Dissent is bad and we have to ban anyone thinking outside the box for the betterment of the nation and democracy....we must stomp dissent out, right? That's what Tommy Jefferson and Jim Madison used to say back in the old days, you betcha! Oh boy, I can wait to get all of those nasty replies headed my way and most likely, a few nasty messages in my box here in a bit.

Conceding in any way to negging JB is doing the Rs business.

Just like Ds who accepted the framing that Hillary was "divisive" because Rs spent two decades losing their minds over her.

They rant and rave 24-7 like children with black and white frames that conflict with what they screamed about two seconds earlier, but Ds think they have to relentlessly take the high road ALL the time.

We are WELL past that.

JB was not perfect. NO POTUS has been perfect. But, he was a darn good POTUS - end story.
